In the occasion of the mid-term period (M18), MAIBAI members met at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) in Rome (Italy), on 17–18 February 2025, to discuss the project achievements, next steps and joint collaboration activities. Representatives from all the consortium members attended the meeting, also in hybrid modality.
In the morning of 18 February 2025, Dr. Carlijn Roozemond and Dr. Ruben van Engen from the Dutch Expert Centre for Screening – LRCB (Netherlands) gave a thoroughly informative seminar titled “Perceptual differences due to image processing and artifacts in mammography: Potential impacts on misclassifications in AI software”, opened to the medical physicists of the ISS.
