Survey: The use of explainable AI in assisted breast cancer diagnosis
University of Ljubljana has prepared a survey about the use of AI tools for automated breast cancer detection in mammography. The target group comprises breast radiologists and diagnostic imaging specialists, and the aim is the definition of the concept of “explainability” in AI, when applied to diagnostic imaging.
Currently, 30 completed questionnaires were collected from 29 radiologists and 1 diagnostic imaging specialist, with the following geographic distribution: 1 Germany; 3 Italy; 3 Ireland; 5 Netherlands; 1 Norway; 1 Spain; 16 UK.
