Generation of synthetic images for mammography via neural networks based method

A poster contribution was presented by PhD student Martina Oria (INRiM, Italy) at the 5th European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP), held in Munich (Germany), on 11–14 September 2024 (https://ecmp2024.org/).

The presented work explores non‐standard techniques for data augmentation of mammographic images for breast cancer detection, by coupling in silico computational models with neural networks based methods.
