The aims of WP1 are:
– To access and organise diagnostic images from breast cancer screening services;
– To set up an image collection framework for other screening centres to follow;
– To develop a technical infrastructure to be able to query and extract the relevant data from breast cancer screening databases;
– To create an open-source software for extraction of relevant data and translation of metadata from different clinical databases.
